Chipmunk Rapids Campground
 
Chipmunk Rapids is a small campground with six sites and it offers a great deal. Upon entering, you will come across an artesian well that flows throughout the year producing excellent drinking water! The area is popular for trout fishing, with a variety of other fish species in nearby lakes. The carry-in canoe access nearby is a popular starting and ending point for canoe trip.

A one-mile trail connects this campground with Lost Lake Campground. The south trailhead of the Lauterman Lake National Recreation Trail is located on the north side of the Pine River.
 
Perch Lake Walk-In Camping and Trail System
 
Perch Lake walk-in campground has five walk-in campsites that are located around Perch Lake; each has a tent pad, a table, a fire ring and a wilderness style toilet. Camping is allowed year round.

The trail around the lake connects to the Lauterman Recreational Trail on the south side of Highway 70. It offers good hiking and mountain biking opportunities in the Spring, Summer and Fall.

Fishing in Perch Lake could reward the angler with northern pike, bass, perch or blue gills.

DIRECTIONS: From Florence take Highway 70 west 11 miles to FR 2150, turn right (north) 1/2 mile to the parking lot on your left.

 
Lauterman Lake Walk-In Camping and Trail System
 
Lauterman Lake walk-in campground has five walk-in campsites located along the Lauterman Recreational Trail around Lauterman Lake; each has a tent pad, a table, a fire ring and a wilderness style toilet. Camping is allowed year round.

The trail offers good hiking and mountain biking opportunities in the Spring, Summer and Fall. It connects to the Perch Lake trail on the north side of Highway 70 and to the Ridge trail to the south. In the winter it is an excellent groomed XC ski trail.

Fishing in Lauterman Lake could reward the angler with northern pike, bass, perch or blue gills.

Morgan Lake Campground
 
Morgan Lake CampgroundWhether you prefer to camp by yourself or with a group, Morgan Lake offers a variety of facilities for your camping pleasure. A group campsite is available that can handle up to 25 people. This site is separated from the other 18 family sites to ensure privacy. Morgan Lake is a clear, 45-acre lake. Only electric motors are permitted on the lake. A beach, small picnic area, and boat access with ramp are also available at this scenic campground.

Lost Lake Campground
 
Here you will find many opportunities for scenic strolls amid the hemlock, aspen and sugar maple. A one-mile interpretive trail through a stand of 150-year-old hemlock and pine is adjacent to the campground. Trails also connect to the Chipmunk Rapids Trail and Lauterman National Recreation Trail (see map above) system. The 86-acre lake is stocked with brown and rainbow trout, and small mouth bass. No motors are permitted on Lost Lake. A boat access area, small picnic area, and a swimming beach are available.
