Florence
County Clerk of Courts
The Clerk of Court's office provides administrative support
services for Florence County Circuit Court including record
keeping for all court cases, collecting money on court ordered
obligations, and managing the court's jury system. We also
assist the public in accessing the courts and its records. As
representatives of the judicial system, the Clerk of Court's
staff treat those we help and serve with dignity, fairness and
sensitivity.
The Clerk of Court's office is statutorily mandated to provide
record keeping and collect all fees, fines, and forfeitures for
the judicial system. The office is headed by the Clerk of Court,
a county elected position. Until 1978 when the court system
reorganized, the Clerk of Court's office provided administrative
services for both the county court and circuit court. Wisconsin
is now under a single trial court system. For further
